We are wiser than our patterns

Your patterns pretend to know a thing or two about looking after you.

They pretend to know how to keep you comfortable when Life may be asking for a bit of perceived discomfort to grow.
They pretend to know how to keep you playing small when secretly there is another more potent you, you know you can be.
They pretend to know how to keep you in a false sense of external safety when true safety is something only you can generate from within.
They are the gatekeepers of the emotional and behavioural attitudes that keep you within the sphere of only what you've always known.
They are systemic. They are conditioned. They are constant.
And there is nothing invalid with any of that.
Unless, you don't want what you've always known.
Then the choice becomes choosing to be wiser than your patterns.
And creating new ones that reflect that wisdom.
